President Tufan Erhürman receives Yaşar Güler, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Türkiye and accompanying delegation

President Tufan Erhürman on Sunday received Yaşar Güler, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Türkiye, and accompanying delegation, who are in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on the occasion of the 20 July Peace and Freedom Day.

In his remarks during the meeting, President Erhürman expressed his pleasure at the visit.

Also present at the meeting were Chief of the Turkish General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu; Commander of the Turkish Land Forces General Metin Tokel; Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu; Commander of the Turkish Air Force General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu; Commander of the Turkish Cypriot Peace Forces Lieutenant General Sebahattin Kılınç; Commander of the Security Forces Major General İlker Görgülü; Deputy Minister of National Defence Salih Ayhan; and Chief of Staff to the Minister of National Defence Erbil Özdemir.

At the meeting, during which commemorative plaques were exchanged, Presidential Undersecretary Mehmet Dânâ was also present.
