President Erhürman meets OIC Secretary General Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed
President Tufan Erhürman, who is in New York for the High-level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, met with the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed on Friday.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on relations with the OIC, current developments and the period ahead.
President Tufan Erhürman will meet with António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, on 26 September at 1.00pm US time.
President Erhürman is expected to return to the island on 27 September at 7.55pm.
