President Tufan Erhürman visits the Dipkarpaz Greek Cypriot Secondary School and Dipkarpaz Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Secondary School

President Tufan Erhürman visited the Dipkarpaz Greek Cypriot Secondary School and the Dipkarpaz Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Secondary School on Wednesday morning as part of his visit to the Karpaz region. At the Dipkarpaz Greek Cypriot Secondary School, he met with primary and secondary school students.

President Erhürman began his programme with a visit to the Dipkarpaz Greek Cypriot Secondary School, where Greek Cypriot students receive their education. He toured the classrooms and met and spoke with students and teachers. 

President Erhürman also met with the Head of Dipkarpaz Greek Cypriot Primary School, Katerina Ktisti, and the Head of Dipkarpaz Greek Cypriot Secondary School, İlias Evribidu, and received information about the general situation of the schools. In their remarks, the school principals thanked President Erhürman for his visit. At Dipkarpaz Greek Cypriot Secondary School, a commemorative gift was also presented to the President.

As part of his programme, President Erhürman subsequently visited Dipkarpaz Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Secondary School, where he also met with students. The President came together with the school principal and teachers and received information regarding the school activities. 
 
President Erhürman, who was warmly welcomed at the school, expressed his happiness at being with the students. He stated that he undertook these visits in order to listen firsthand and assess any potential issues experienced by schools in the region.
