The meeting between President Tufan Erhürman and Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Christodoulides has started and is being hosted by Ms. María Ángela Holguín, Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Cyprus

President Tufan Erhürman and Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Christodoulides came together on Wednesday at a tripartite meeting held in the United Nations buffer zone, hosted by Ms. María Ángela Holguín, Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Cyprus.

President Erhürman and Mr. Christodoulides were welcomed by Ms. Holguín and the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Cyprus and Head of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), Mr. Khassim Diagne.

The meeting started at 11.10am, at the official residence of the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. Diagne, located in the UN buffer zone.
