First Lady Sibel Tatar attends high-level session on "Women, Peace, and Security" at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum
First Lady Sibel Tatar has attended the high-level session on "Women, Peace and Security", held at the 3rd Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF).
Pioneered by the Turkish First Lady, Emine Erdoğan, the panel, held on Saturday, focused on the importance of women's role in achieving lasting and sustainable peace.
Following the conclusion of the session, President Tatar and First Lady Sibel Tatar, along with representatives of other countries, joined President Erdogan and the Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan, and participated in the "Culinary Journey to Anatolian Centenary Flavours" exhibition.
The exhibition, led by Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan, features traditional Anatolian cuisine and crafts.
The exhibition has been organised by the Antalya Olgunlasma (Adult) Institute, connected to the
Director General for Lifelong Learning at the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye. It features hand-woven fabrics consisting of original designs reflecting the cultural diversity and handcrafts of Türkiye.
First Lady Erdoğan and her officials provided information about the clothes and accessories decorated with traditional patterns, motifs and colors.
First Ladies Emine Erdoğan and Sibel Tatar, together with Presidents Erdoğan and Tatar, also visited the stands in the foyer area, where the products included in the EU geographical indications register were displayed.
Sibel Tatar then attended the dinner given in honour of the leaders' spouses.
