“Happy Children-Parents Conversations” event held in Güzelyurt
The “Happy Children-Parents Conversations” event was held in Güzelyurt, organised under the auspices of President Ersin Tatar and First Lady Sibel Tatar.

The event focuses on raising awareness on healthy parent-child interaction and how to raise children in a happy and healthy environment, as well as child development. Attending the meeting were the President and First Lady, as well as parents of students from 16 schools from the Güzelyurt and Lefke districts and members of the public.
Also speaking at the event were Professor of Guidance and Psychological Counselling at European University of Lefke, Dr. Nergüz Bulut Serin and Eastern Mediterranean University Department of Educational Sciences academic staff member Prof. Dr. Sibel Dinçyürek, who shared their experiences with the participants and answered questions of parents.
The “Happy Children-Parents Handbook” – which has been prepared by the Presidency, were handed out for free to the participants.
The Happy Children and Parents Conversations meetings, which commenced as from last year and has reached hundreds of students and parents to date, will be held at numerous state nurseries and primary schools across the TRNC.
