OIC summit has started in Banjul

The 15th Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) started on Saturday in Banjul, the capital of The Gambia.
President Ersin Tatar is representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, an observer member of the OIC, at the 2024 summit of the organisation that is held once every three years.
The summit is being held under the theme "Enhancing unity and solidarity through dialogue for sustainable development", and is being attended by World leaders from 57 member states of the OIC.
President Tatar will hold bilateral meetings and attend the dinner to be held in honour of the heads of state and government.
President Tatar will also deliver a speech at the summit.
