Within the scope of the "Presidential Welcome Baby Memorial Forest" project, on Thursday, February 24, 2022 (tomorrow) at 10am, a tree planting event will take place under the auspices of the TRNC Presidency and led by First Lady Sibel Tatar.

The 'Presidential Welcome Baby Memorial Forest' scheme is an environmentally friendly project that was launched on April 1, 2021 and aims to plant trees for every baby born in the TRNC since then.

Within the scope of the project, a tree planting activity will be held every year in January-February, in the name of babies born that year and whose families were sent certificates, in the forest land named 'Presidential Welcome Baby Memorial Forest of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus,' and is located between Kalkanlı and Tepebaşı.
