President Tatar participated in the session, titled "From Crises to Stability: Building an Inclusive World" -- which was also attended by former heads of state and officials from 17 countries.

In his speech at the session, President Tatar stated that he was pleased to take part in the 27th Eurasian Economic Summit and to be addressing the heads of state of so many countries. Expressing his wish for an end to all wars and conflicts in the world and, especially in Gaza, President Tatar said: "We are longing for real peace and prosperity for the future for all humanity".

Stating that the world needs peace and tranquility, President Tatar pointed out that,  like every country, the TRNC is also encountering issues and challenges.

Explaining the Cyprus problem and its history, President Tatar underlined that the Turkish Cypriot people were equal co-founders of the Republic of Cyprus that was established as a partnership state with the Greek Cypriots. He said the Greek Cypriot Side in 1963 expelled the Turkish Cypriots out of the state apparatus by force of arms in 1963, and subjected them to persecution and armed up to 1974.

The President added thatre was a coup d'etat by the Greek Junta in July 1974 and that the 'Hellenic Republic of Cyprus' was declared, which obliged Türkiye, a guarantor power, to undertake thee Cyprus Peace Operation, which brought peace to Cyprus.  He said the Turkish Cypriot People gained independence, freedom and a State and that although the TRNC is facing isolation and is an unrecognised state, it continues its development and has taken its place as a strong State in the region, with the support of Motherland Türkiye.
President Ersin Tatar stated that federal based negotiations for more than half-a-century have failed, with at least 15 solution plans being rejected by the Greek Cypriot Side, the last being the Annan Plan of 2004, and the collapse of the process in Crans-Montana in July 2017.

"The Greek Cypriot Side have a mindset that does not accept the Turkish Cypriot People as being their equals, which has obstructed a settlement in sharing governance and the resources of the Island on the basis of equality," President Tatar said.  "This is why we are today putting forward a realistic and sustainable two State basis as a settlement in Cyprus. We wish to co-exist as good neighbours in a cooperative relationship."

The President also stated that the TRNC was accepted as an observer member with its constitutional name at the Organisation of Turkic States in 2022.
Stating that there have been two States in Cyprus for decades, President Tatar said that with the support of the Republic of Türkiye, he is working to increase the visibility of the TRNC in the international arena, and added that utmost effort is being made to develop  the TRNC across every field.
President Tatar stated that despite the Greek Cypriot Side's rejection of the Annan Plan in 2004 in the separately held simoltaneous referenda and the acceptance of the Plan by the Turkish Cypriot Side, "the EU accepted the Greek Cypriot Side as a member state into the bloc, and never honoured the promises to the Turkish Cypriot People to start direct trade, direct flights and allow our teams to participate in prominent sports tournaments."
"This injustice on the Turkish Cypriot People needs to be addressed," President Tatar said.
President Tatar thanked the organisers and everybody who were in attendance at the summit.
