President Ersin Tatar received Rifat Günay, Chairman of the Central Bank of the TRNC. During the meeting, consultations were held on financial markets and the recent developments in the economy. During the meeting, President Tatar also evaluated the potential reflections of the external shock in foreign currency on different fields and sectors of the economy, and exchanged views with Mr Günay about the measures that can be taken following an ease in the conditions arising from the pandemic. Discussions were also held as to what sort of openings can be made in the economy.
