President Ersin Tatar meets with Dai Le, Federal Member of Parliament in Sydney
President Ersin Tatar has held a meeting with Dai Le, Federal Member of Parliament, during his contacts in Sydney.
President Tatar stated that he was happy to have met with Ms. Le, saying: “During the meeting, we discussed issues related to bilateral relations between the two countries, exploring possible avenues for developing economic relations, and how travel and diplomatic services can be improved for the Turkish Cypriot People who live in Australia.”
President Tatar said that he had also put forward his new vision for a realistic and sustainable settlement to the Cyprus issue “that is based on our inherent rights, namely sovereign equality and equal international status”.
President Tatar was accompanied by Special Advisor to the President on International Relations and Diplomacy, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Işıksal, and Foreign Press Officer Kerem Haser.
