President Ersin Tatar has met with Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).
The meeting, which was also attended by the Presidential delegations from both countries, was held at the third edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Discussions were held on the relations of the TRNC and the OTS -- which the TRNC joined an observer member with its constitutional name in 2022.
President Tatar expressed his gratitude to the OTS, its member states and to Mr Omuraliev, for supporting the observer membership of the TRNC. The President said that it is important to continue deepening relations with the OTS and cooperating across different areas.
The President added that following the TRNC participation in the OTS in 2022, the TRNC Parliamentary Assembly, the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and other institutions and organisations have been granted observer membership status.
