President Ersin Tatar meets with the Mayor of Banjul

President Ersin Tatar met with the Mayor of Banjul, the Capital of The Gambia, which he visited within the scope of the 15th summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.
 
Rohey Malick Lowe, the first elected female mayor of The Gambia, is known for her leading efforts to empower women in all areas of life, especially politics, on the African continent.
 
Mayor Lowe is also the president of the The Network of local elected Women of Africa (REFELA), founded in March 2011 by women elected as local administrators of the continent of Africa.
