President Ersin Tatar made a statement commemorating Eid and the auspicous occassion following the morning Eid prayers he attended today at the Ebu Bekir Es Sıddık Mosque in Lefkoşa.
President Tatar commemorated Eid al Fitr that is being celebrated in the TRNC,
Motherland Türkiye and the Islamic world.
Expressing that the earthquake disaster that occured in Türkiye has inflicted pain and losses on an unprecedented scale, the President stated that the Turkish nation is commemorating Eid with great sadness this year.
He said the pain of tens of thousands of People who died in the disaster are still fresh in the minds of the bereaving families, loved ones and the entire nation.
