President Ersin Tatar receives Chairman Ahmet Tural and the delegation from the 6th regional union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen Credit and Bail Cooperatives

President Ersin Tatar received Chairman Ahmet Tural, and vice-chairmen Adlıhan Dere and Metin Sipahi of the 6th regional union of the Tradesmen and Craftmen Credit and Bail Cooperatives.
President Tatar thanked the delegation for their visit and expressed his appreciation for the "great effort that is being put forward in order to protect and strengthen the TRNC".
The President said that "investments in tourism, husbandry, agriculture and various fields have increased," adding that "there is ongoing work aimed at developing and structuring every sector in the TRNC". President Tatar added that the "negative effects" of the Russia-Ukraine war are also being felt globally and, naturally, in the TRNC. "I wish for this conflict to end as soon as possible," the President said, as he referred to the humane tragedy being lived by innocent civilians.
“With the opening of the fenced-part of Maraş, our country will develop enormously in terms of tourism.”
President Tatar said: “It is my greatest wish for there to be peace in the world, and to see an end to the pandemic and conflicts in the world."
Emphasising that the difficulties being faced by different sectors in the TRNC is being addressed in solidarity, President Tatar said that "there is a great potential in the TRNC and that our country will develop enormously in terms of tourism, especially with the opening of the fenced-off part of Maraş. With the increase of international students coming to study at our higher education institutions from our Motherland and other countries, the education sector has gained momentum. I believe that such contacts with the Republic of Türkiye will increasingly continue,” he said.
