President Ersin Tatar returns to the TRNC
President Ersin Tatar returned to the TRNC following a one-day visit to Türkiye – where he visited the areas devastated by the earthquakes that occurred in the country last month.
The President expressed his heartfelt condolences in his own name and on behalf of the TRNC to earthquake victims during his visits to three different cities that have been affected in the province of Kahramanmaraş.
The President met with the authorities at Gaziantep Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Türkiye (AFAD) Centre and also visited Karacasu Container City in Kahramanmaraş and Tent City at the Sütçü İmam University Avşar Campus.
President Tatar also visited the earthquake victims who are continuing to receive treatment for their injuries at the Adana City Training and Research Hospital and conveyed his wishes for speedy recovery.
President Tatar was welcomed by Minister of Labour and Social Security Hasan Taçoy, Brigadier General Kadir Bayraklı and other officials at Ercan Airport.
