President Ersin Tatar to meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Saturday

The 76th Session of the UN General Assembly commenced today in New York. The opening week of the General Assembly, attended by the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, who is the host country this year, as the first speaker, will continue with the speeches of other participants and various meetings.
President Ersin Tatar, who is in New York and continuing his contacts there, briefly met the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres during the inauguration ceremony of Turkish House (Türkevi).
As it is known, a bilateral meeting between the President and the Secretary General will be held this Saturday.
On Monday, President Tatar will attend a tripartite meeting and will meet with Greek Cypriot Leader Nicos Anastasiadis at a luncheon to be hosted by the Secretary General. During the week, President Tatar is expected to continue his contacts with representatives of other countries, international organisations and members of the press and media in New York on the occasion of the UN General Assembly.
