President Ersin Tatar visited some of the miners who were injured in a catastrophic explosion in the mining quarry in the Amasra district of Bartın, Türkiye.

The miners, who are receiving treatment at the Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, had been air lifted to hospital after sustaining injuries following the blast that martyred 41 workers, on October 14.
President Tatar, who received information about the health status of the miners who are continuing to receive treatment at the hospital, also met with the families of the injured miners.
The President expressed his deepest condolences and sympathies on behalf of the people of the TRNC, adding: “The people of the TRNC were also shocked and deeply saddened at the news of the loss of life, due to the accident. Our thoughts are with the bereaved families during their time of great loss. May their loved one’s rest in peace.”
The President also wished the injured miners a speedy recovery.
