President Ersin Tatar welcomes President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
President Ersin Tatar officially welcomed the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and his accompanying delegation at Ercan Airport, upon their arrival in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to attend the celebrations of the 20 July Peace and Freedom Day.
Accompanying President Erdoğan on his visit are the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Bekir Bozdağ, Head of the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications Burhanettin Duran, Chief Advisor for Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, as well as AK Party Deputy Chairpersons Nihat Zeybekci, Hüseyin Yayman, Halit Yerebakan, Kürşat Zorlu and Belgin Uygur.
During his visit, President Erdoğan will take part in a mass inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony, as well as ceremonies at the Atatürk Monument in Lefkoşa and the military parade to be held at the Dr. Fazıl Küçük Boulevard at 6.30pm this evening.
