President Ersin Tatar will meet with María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar, the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General, tomorrow (May 8) at 12pm, that will also be attended by the delegations.
Ms Holguin was appointed for a period not exceeding six months on January 5, 2024, by the UN Secretary-General with a specific mandate to explore whether common ground exists or not between the two Sides to start a new and formal process. This will be the third round of visits of Ms. Holguin to the Island of Cyprus, which follows earlier visits in January and March.
