President Ersin Tatar is to meet Republic of Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to express his condolences following the recent catastrophic earthquakes that resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of people in the country.
President Tatar, who will stage the official visit to the Republic of Türkiye tomorrow, will depart from Ercan Airport at 11.40am for İstanbul. President Tatar will meet with President Erdoğan that evening at 6.00pm (local time) and will convey his condolences and deepest sympathy and solidarity on behalf of the Turkish Cypriot People and the TRNC.
The President will return to the TRNC at 11.00pm on the same evening.
President Tatar will hold a press conference at Ercan Airport prior to his departure and also following his arrival back to the country.
