President Ersin Tatar's message on Islamic Holy Night of Berat Kandili (Shab e-Barat)
President Ersin Tatar’s message is as follows:
“Berat Kandili (Shab e-Barat) is the messenger that the Holy Month of Ramadan is almost here. May Berat Kandili bring in blessings to our people, Motherland Türkiye and to the entire Islamic World and fill our hearts with feelings of love, respect, tolerance, forgiveness and patience. Due to the earthquake disaster that was experienced a short time ago, this year on this day our hearts are in pain. May the citizens, who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake disaster, rest in peace and I wish speedy recovery to the wounded and extend my condolences to the families and all our nation.”
