President Ersin Tatar’s statement regarding the start of the second term of the 2022-2023 Academic Year
“We are starting the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year with a bitter feeling as we try to heal the wounds of the earthquake disaster.
I wish great success to approximately 52 thousand students and 6 thousand teachers who will start the lesson tomorrow morning in primary and secondary state and private schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education.
I sincerely believe that each of you will be a hardworking individual who loves his/her homeland and nation, with character and responsibility. At this point, our teachers and parents will put forth great effort together with our dear students.
May our champion angel students, all our citizens and our brothers and sisters in Motherland Türkiye, who lost their lives in the disaster rest in peace.”
