President Tatar issued a message on the death of his mother-in-law, Ayten Deniz: “Our pain is great”
Ayten Deniz, the precious mother of Sibel Tatar, wife of President Ersin Tatar, passed away today. President Ersin Tatar, who is in New York to make contacts on the Cyprus issue, stated in his written message that he was “deeply saddened” and expressed his condolences to his family, relatives and loved ones.
The written statement of President Tatar:
“I am deeply saddened at the passing of my mother-in-law, Ayten Deniz. The untimely death has happened whilst I am in New York in accordance with my duties.
“May God have mercy upon her. I wish my condolences and patience to my bereaved family, relatives and loved ones.
“She will always be remembered for her dignified personality, kindness and compassion, beauty and self-sacrifice. Our sadness is great, we will always remember her with longing and love. May she rest in peace.
"Ayten Deniz, the wife of the late Kemal Deniz, who had great services in our national struggle, will be buried next to her husband in the Lefkoşa Cemetery, after the funeral prayer that will be held at Nicosia Ismail Safa Mosque tomorrow."
