The 12th Summit of the Organisation of Turkic States starts with the participation of President Ersin Tatar
The 12th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS), with the participation of President Ersin Tatar, commenced today in the city of Gabala, Azerbaijan.

Hosted by President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Summit is taking place at the Heydar Aliyev Congress Centre. Prior to the opening session, the Heads of State came together for a family photograph, symbolising the unity, solidarity, and shared vision of the Turkic World.
Upon his arrival at the venue, President Tatar was warmly welcomed by President Ilham Aliyev.
In the family photograph, President Ersin Tatar stood alongside President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, National Leader of Turkmenistan and Chairman of the People’s Council Gurbanguli Berdimuhamedov, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary, and Secretary-General of the Organisation of Turkic States Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliyev.
Following the photo session, the leaders proceeded to the main hall, where the Summit — held under the theme “Regional Peace and Security” — officially started.
