The dinner, which is being hosted by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for the heads of delegations at the informal meeting on Cyprus in a broader format in Geneva, has started at the Intercontinental Hotel and has been organised with two separate tables.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Under-Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo, President Ersin Tatar, Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Christodoulides, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, George Gerapetritis, and UK Minister of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories Stephen Doughty, sat at the head table.
The Special Representatives of the two leaders, Güneş Onar and Menelaos Menelaou, Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Cyprus and Head of UNFICYP Colin Stewart, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye Mehmet Bozay, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Greece and the British High Commissioner Michael Tatham CMG sat at the other table.
The heads of delegations were each accompanied by one person at the dinner. UN Secretary-General took photographs with each head of delegation prior to the start of the dinner.
