We Are Aware of Leukaemia and stand in solidarity with the children and their families
Presidency staff gathered under the leadership of President Ersin Tatar and First Lady Sibel Tatar as part of social responsibility and expression of solidarity in commemoration of ‘Week of Children with Leukaemia’.
The Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation for Children with Leukaemia and Fight Against Cancer had declared November 2-8 to being the week commemorating the occasion as part of social responsibility and raising awareness for our children suffering from the condition.
Presidency staff, under the leadership of President Tatar and Mrs Tatar, wore specially made medical masks which had logos and writing in support of the children who are cancer sufferers and expressed solidarity with them.
Presidential staff were united in their views, saying they will always support and stand by the children with leukaemia and stated that they fully supported this event which was aimed at raising awareness of the plight of the children and their families. The masks were offered for sale by the foundation as part of fundraising, and photographs were taken within the framework of the event.
